I purchased a five pack at an excellent price on Amazon, and that makes these bits even better. They are well made (in Germany and NOT China, if you can believe that!) and the carbide tip is brazed on very well with almost no voids. One bit lasted me through five holes three inches deep in decades old concrete. Tried to sharpen it with a Drill Doctor but learned that was an exercise in futility (read my review on the DD500X). Buying these on here is much cheaper than buying from the big box stores.
